Best wishes and we look forward to hearing from you once you are over the mountain. So glad that you are at peace with it now.

Oddly, that calm may well follow you all the way into surgery. I never decided if it was from finally releasing the responsibility to the doctors, a transcending, zen-like personal acceptance, or just deer-in-the-headlights syndrome, but it is a weird, calm, detached, and good place to be in your head for tomorrow.

You will be in my thoughts tomorrow, as you go through your procedures. We do know what you're going through, and with so many of us thinking of you, it seems impossible that you could ever be quite alone through this.

I wish you well,

Hugs & prayers are coming your way. You'll do just fine. Just think this time next week you'll be on the other side of the mountain. Be sure and have someone post for you so we won't worry. God speed.

Teacher,
Dont feel bad. I went through the same thing right before my surgery 2 weeks ago. I just went ahead and let myself be a monster...(well I tried to not take it out on anyone as much as possible) You are going through a lot and your family and friends just need to understand that. You will be back to normal as soon as your surgery is over.

Krista
