Have to see the surgeon on the 21st and have look over the dental work to see if it has healed properly. If so, then surgery has been scheduled for the morning of the 22nd. Dr. was concerned about a sore throat I have had for approx. 3 weeks but family Dr. looked me over on the 17th and found nothing to be concerned about, assumed that it could be due to the amount of stress I have been through lately. (ya think!) Any way, will keep you all posted as to the surgery and will hopefully in one week be over the mountain, as I have heard it said. The administrator at my work place has been very understanding however the supervisor is fuming because I took a few extra days off to get my ducks in a row. (He probably is still fuming about the fact that he may actually have to do some work for the 2 months.) As always HAVE A NICE DAY.

Good luck! My experience was that the anticipation truly was the worst part.

Bear,

I took a chance and put you on the calendar for Tuesday. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that nothing will postpone it and you can join the "over the mountain gang" next week.

Good luck on Monday and let us know what happens. Hugs and prayers coming your way.

I will be on deck.

I will be on deck.

I am sceduled to go in for surgery on the 23rd. Hopefully we can drop each other a line in about 10 days or so. Best to you, I will be thinking of you. It gets kinda wierd once the day is finally aproaching. As my wife said this morning she feels like we are in limbo. God Bless charlie b

Good Luck

Good Luck

Please belive everyone when they say you will be fine. I had my second OHS on Dec 14 2004, first in 1971, I was scared like crazy, and often worked myself into a frenzy. It was the worst part. After the surgery it will be all up hill. It might hurt for a while but you will be alive and feel better every day. Then it will be behind you. I am 13 weeks PO and still feel some aches and pains, but i am glad to be alive. Please try and relax it is the key to success with this thing. Good Luck.
Seth
