I want to get this thread started since Readsforfun will be undergoing surgery on Monday, and many times members don't check into VR over the week-end.
So . . . please remember that we'll be here when your surgery is over, and we'll be here whenever you have questions or concerns. If someone could post after you have your successful replacement, that would be wonderful! We love to hear about each and everyone's journey up the mountain.
God Bless you and keep you safe.
Mary

All the best on Monday, and for an uneventful surgery and recovery. I look forward to hearing about the journey from the other side of the mountain.

Wow. That was quick. GoodLuck and Godspeed. We'll be here waiting for you when you come back.

Prayers for your surgery!

Prayers for your surgery!

My thoughts and prayers go out for a successful surgery and an uneventful recovery!

Hi Mary -

I think Readsforfun, Jan, said her angiogram/catherization is the fifteenth and her AVR isn't scheduled as of yet.

Praying for a very successful surgery for one of our newest members!

Yep, you're right Susan. I'll take her name off the calendar, but I won't delete this thread . . . we can always resurrect it when Jan gets her surgery date.

I wanted to mention that I don't get email notification of threads I've posted to (I think you said in another thread that you did), so sometimes there's a long stretch of elapsed time before I see a post that's directed to me. This time was an exception! Anyway, I do have a PM notification feature, so that's a for sure way of getting a message to me.
Thanks for the heads-up.:)

Hi again Mary!

When I first became a member here, I used to get email notifications of posts to threads and private messages. I haven't for a long time though; it's probably some option in my computer that got turned off somewhere along the line! I usually click on my User CP first thing, though, to check on whatever threads I'm subscribed to.

I didn't know a thread could be deleted; I'm still learning stuff about this site! Have a nice weekend.

I will be looking for Jan's posts..maybe next week.....I wanted to say, yes..I get the notifications of my VR.Com posts....on my old computer..:D See many every morning when I tune in....:D ..read them..and don't have to go back and look at forums that day..until this time of the day. bonnie

Good luck! Remember that we all go with you and we will all be waiting to hear of the successful outcome when it's over. Please have someone post to us and let us know if you can. Prayers go with you also. See you on the otherside!
