surgery date moved up!! March 20th

I got a call about 2 hrs ago from the surgeons NP moving the date to next friday the 20th. I freaked out on the phone. I was looking forward to spending that last weekend with them. I managed to finally calm down once my hubby got home and held me.

When that nurse said that I just panicked and nothing but fear came over me. So Mary, could you change me on the calender?

i cant wait to be on the other side with you. We will probably be getting there at the same time. We'll have to compare notes. I will be thinking of you on the 18th when you are going through this. See ya on the other side of the mountain.

I'm sure you must have been really freaked out when they called to tell you your surgery was going to be sooner than anticipated. But just remind yourself that you'll be getting it out of the way sooner & the sooner you can get on with your life, the better!

Hang in there & I've got you in my prayers! You'll do just fine!

That's really is getting a curve ball thrown at you ... anyone would freak over that call ... now that you have calmed try and be positive ... look forward to a life of being all fixed up

You should do just fine, ask your husband to take pictures. I'm gklad my wife complied when I asked her too. Major part of my life & it will be nice to have something tangible to look back on.

I asked him to take pictures. We are photographers anyway so what the heck, why not?

I'm glad others want pictures taken of them too - I want pics taken of me after this next one too... I remember everyone describing how I looked on all the tubes and whatnot - so this time I want to see it.

Good luck on the 20th - as everyone else said, you're just getting a jump start to recovery!
