Hello Bonny, a week ago I visited the chat room at about 7pm Brazil time and there were lots of people on. But yesterday I didn't succeed and I was very frustrated because I'd waited a whole week for that. See if I did it right: I clicked on chat, typed my name and pressed the enter button. I was then taken to channel 0 where I typed my message but there didn't seem to be anybody there. I tried later on but still no answer well, I gave up. I know the time zones in Europe, can you tell me what time 5pm is in Britain so that I get it right next time? And how do I get taken to the right channel, I mean, where you all are? Hope you can help me

Sorry you missed us..Another great chat. Goes on for about 3 hours now..starting at 5 P.M. Eastern time in U.S...You did right on name at top and enter...If you look like you are alone type ....../JOIN 2...We are usually in Channel 2..Jim, Dave anymore advice for Deb. Bonnie

I for one thank you for clearing that up. I have tried several times to get and have found only a few people who only said hi. Thats not much of a conversation. Maybe its time to try again. We will see if it works. 5pm est would be 6pm central correct?

Can we run our mouths and I cannot type fast..so by the time I reply..They are in another conversation. Billy, Jan and Scottie are across the pond..Having their late dinners..Jim and Dave are our watchdogs. if someone comes in..Unknown..they can go find them. It's 4pm Central time. I've visited the chat room twice and the messages fly so fast and furious I spend a lot of time just trying to read what's being typed! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've not had trouble with the channel, I just seem to land on the right one. Yesterday, several people came and went without identifying themselves. It was mentioned that it is so hard to "see" someone without their name!

Help! Can anybody tell me what time 4pm central time is in Britain? I live in Brazil but since I think it's unlikely you will know the time here, Britain will do because Robert's mother always phones us, so I know the time there . Thank you

Debora, Bonnie is giving your good advice. I saw you at the chat this past Sunday, and said Hi. Perhaps you were on a different channel, and I didn't notice. I don't fully understand the channel thing. It seems that it normally takes you right into channel 2, and we try to stay there. But occasionally we end up in another channel, and then just about everybody needs "rescuing." Try again. If you click on the "Finger" button in the middle of the bottom, it will give a list of all the people on the chat, their ISPs, and which channel they're on. We try hard to get everyone on the same channel, but sometimes it takes a little time, especially when the conversations (all six of them at once) are going fast and furious.

They start at 4pm our time (Missouri). I stayed on until 5:30 Sunday, and then I had to go. People come in, say "Hi", catch up, then sign back off. Everyone understands if you need to leave. Please try it, and see if it works for you before going to church.

Hi again, I live in the South of Brazil and when the time in Britain is for example, midday now during their summer time, it's eight in the morning here because it's winter time for us. Thank you all for helping .
