Superbob so sorry to read about your fall and glad you didn't get badly hurt :(

I smiled reading about you doing the shoot-arounds though. That is so great!! We do have to realize that we cannot keep up all the time with those "young uns" but always glad when they ask us. Weights are good and we all should work with them, I think.

Now, this is not meant as a downer but I want to add a short note. My husband's family are all quite athletic and the cousins never get together without shooting hoops together. Last fall they had just finished when one of the older ones, 55 , went down. He drove himself to cardiac center and checked himself out and went back home. He did not survive.

I guess what I want to say is even if we can't always perform like we wish we could............we really are blessed to be here :)
 
wow, jwinter, 55, so young, very sad. I guess we never know, do we? Just stay the course, count our blessings, be grateful, cherish our loved ones, do the best that we can, think about the life after depending on one's spiritual perspective.
