Hey, thought I'd take a moment to peek in and give anyone who was keeping track an update....
Lessee... After a wild and wooly fight between me, my PCP and my cardiologist, I now have a new PCP... Long story short, my old primary care physician (actually, the group practice manager) dumped me from their service. I talked to the doc, he was apologetic to some degree, but still, I was NOT a happy camper and neither was my cardiologist.

After several months of hunting, I found a new PCP AND, on my first visit, for an introductoy physical, she decided she would look at my nagging acid reflux cough instead, the one I've had since I had my valve replacement in '03 (by the way, my fourth anniversary was last week.)

She put me on Nexium.

Ahhhh.... FINALLY!!!!!!

I've been trying this for ever and she hands me a bag of sample pills and a scrip for more. I have to get bloodwork and some other stuff to confirm or rule out stuff, but she put me on the stuff right away. I like her. :D

We still have yet to spend a night in the hosue we bought in September, 2005. Another long story but it's fit for Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and so are we, but we're trying to work it all out ourselves.

Still at the paper as a reporter, still a volunteer firefighter, still an EMT and I added "occassional" status as a part-time "ambulance driver" (they hate that) for the local commercial ambulance service.

Good stuff. Still kicking tushy and taking names.

Take care all, I'll pop in another time when I have more of it, soon....

You lead such an interesting life. Do you have time to sleep? Sorry about your house. I hope it's fixable, whatever it is. It's a really cute house. Keep checking in when you get a minute.

Nope!

I'm trying to master the fine art of cat-napping but I haven't quite figured it out just yet. When I do, I'll let you know. ;)

Hey there! Nice to hear from you. Glad you found yourself a new PCP who is willing and able to help you properly.

About those naps. I thought they called them Power Naps....maybe if you change the name from cat nap, you'll actually be able to psychologically get them to work for you (who wants to be thought of as a napping cat?? ;) )

Take care. Drop us a photo once in awhile! :D
