Hi Betty

I'm glad things turned out OK in the shoulder department. I'm sure they'll be ok in the breast department, too.

GO ENJOY BEING A GRANDMA TODAY........

Things do have their way of working out.

Evelyn

Betty - I'm speechless. Hard for you to believe, I know.

The only "glass half full" thing I can suggest is that once all this junk is resolved, odds are you'll have a pretty good rest-of-the-year.

I had a breast lump scare last month - had made all my plans, thought about how far I'd go with treatment, debated getting out my old hair prosthetic, blah blah blah - I haven't had a real scare since I had bc in 1990. Guess this was just to keep me honest. It turned out to be fine. All that adrenalin and angst wasted.

Good luck, dear friend. I'm rooting and praying for you.

I, too, recommend liquor.

Betty, my goodness! Dealing with all these things at one time. You have been so encouraging to me over the last two years that please let me be there for you. I will put you at the top of my prayer list. Please take it easy and rest the shoulder. Hugs are also coming your way. Let us know as soon as you find out anything.

Love you my friend!

OK, today I had diagnostic mammograms and after the radiologist reviewed them he ordered more views. After that I had an ultrasound and the radiologist came in to show me some stuff on the mammograms and bottom line......he is not thinking cancer! He was going to call my gyn and discuss it with him but he said he was going to suggest holding off on a biopsy and redo eveything that was done today around Christmas. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Two down, one to go! :) Lets hope for more to do about nothing!
Thanks again, everybody for all your prayers.

It is funny how you can sometimes feel like you've lost weight without shedding an ounce.

Betty,
A few song lyrics are in order, I think!

Grey skies are gonna clear up,
Put on a happy face!

Your news puts happy faces on all of us!
Not let's get rid of that last pesky problem! :)

Great news- I also had repeat mammograms last month at 6 months and they came out "ultra" normal- hoping for the same for you! :)

Betty I'm so glad to hear that things are looking OK. Let's hope the patch on your mouth is OK too. I'll be keeping the positive thoughts flowing your way.

Anna : )

Does this mean what I think it means? Gina and Betty will meet during Gina's trip south? If so ... awesome! Having met both of you, I bet ya'll will hit it off :).

And, Betty ... thoughts/prayers still coming your way.

Betty, many hugs are being sent your way. I know you've been battling that shoulder problem for quite some time and hope you get some non-surgical relief soon. You're in my thoughts...

I predict you're going to lose so much you'll feel like you're floating. :) I'm so happy for you about the results. I'm still keeping you in my prayers.

Good for you Betty-

I'm so happy to hear that the mammogram and additional testing are not showing anything to worry about.

Betty,

Betty,

I was checking in today to see how you were doing. It sounds like you don't need any more advice from anyone!! Fantastic news all around. Congratulations on the outcome of all of your testing!!

And Al, it WAS you who gave me the advice to "be brave." That was the best advice - something about just saying those words to myself - it really helps me.

I hope everyone (especially you Betty) has a wonderful weekend!

Hi Betty

Hi Betty

Imissed posting on your Birthday..hope you had a great day..Also, the Golf Open at Pinehurst. Hubby stayed glued to T.V. for the entire time. Told him, I had a friend that lived there. Tough course. ..Glad things are coming good your way... :) Getting hard to post on VR.Com..Going from 1 Grandchild to 3(2 new ones from Russia)... :) :) :) :) ..Like tomorrow, ( I know you have a Grandaughter)..I'm taking my age 23 Month old Granddaughter to Cabbage Patch Hospital..10 miles from where I live. Too young to buy her one now..but so cute watching the Nurses birth them from a huge Cabbage. :D It's in a 1930's hospital clinic....The guy that started the Cabbage Patch craze..is now a multi-millionaire..came from a poor family..but his Grandmother taught him to sew. :D Take care and don't fall again :p Bonnie
