Hubby's surgery

Hubby's surgery

On his nose (9/11) Yikes..I think the surgeon should have had the plastic surgeon's office.appointment sat up..where we could have driven him over there..5 minutes away....and had the plastic surgeon close it up. Then next morning..(He was very inactive after we got home) bedrest..I awoke the next morning to see blood all over his face. and he was sleeping. Drove him back down to be redressed. but the plastic surgeon closed him up the following day. To me, it was bad doctor's office setting up appointment.  Bonnie

You are right. That doesn't seem like good planning. It doesn't seem like he should have had to go through that.

I'm going up to Duke for the Mohs surgery and he is planning on doing the surgery and reconstruction all the same day. I have to bring overnight stuff just in case it stretches into two days. Even if it does I probably won't go into the hospital but stay at a motel there and return for them to finish in the morning.

They prefer me going off my coumadin for 4 days if my physician approves. HE DOESN'T. I will call him Monday and inform him of that. The Derm/Oncology clinic said if I can't come off of it they will work around it. Work around it they will:D :D .

Your hubby is doing fine?
