After reading Rain's post, I happened to glance at my calendar ... and quickly realized it is October 28 ... my grandmother (Mom's Mom) died exactly 3 years ago today.

Bonnie - may your many many wonderful memories sustain you and your family as you grieve the loss of you Daddy. No matter how old we are, we are still our parent's child. You are in my prayers.
 
I was going to bed but something said 'check the posts'......

You know how much we have you and John and all the children and grands in our hearts just now. You have some hard days ahead. We love you so much, but you know that. I am so sorry that we must bear these things, but we have the memories that never leave and I know you have such good ones. It always shows.

He knows you loved him as he did you. That never changes.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I feel your pain and can totally understand. My father passed away 27 years on Nov 5th. You will never ever forget him as he will live on in your memories and spirit! I'm sending you cyber hugs for comfort! You and your family wil be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!
 
Dear Bonnie, So sorry for your loss. My dad died 15 years ago. I still remember the shock & emtpiness. I don't think age really matters. We're never ready to lose a parent. God bless you and we will keep you in our prayers during this difficult time.
 
Bonnie.....just wanted to offer you my deepest sympathy at this sad time. My own Daddy died 35 years ago this Christmas (I was only 5 at the time) and my lovely Mam died 7 years ago. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. I hope that you will find comfort in all the many happy memories that I'm sure you have of your Daddy. Take Care...
