Is there a difference between the surgical outcomes of patients with aortic insufficiency compared to those with stenosis?

yes... from everything I've read and heard over the last few months the Ross is more ideally suited for patients with primary aortic stenosis. There may also be insufficiency secondarily (I have both), but it should not be the primary diagnosis.

Don't ask me how they tell what's primary and what's secondary.
