I thought about setting up an internet-based support forum for those of us who go into fits of withdrawal when they have connectivity problems (count me in this group). But since you wouldn't be able to access it during times when you need it most I guess my logic is a bit flawed.
:D

Ross - fess up. We know you weren't really gone - just lurking to see what we'd say behind your back when you couldn't defend yourself. Swore you caused VR to disappear - I got panicky emails this morning saying you had caused havoc everywhere and I should go huntin you to stop it. Guess that's what happens to you when your modem explodes on ya. Got tired of staring at this thing after those 3 hours and went and took a nap and lo and behold my nap reconstructed you. See, all, knew I could fix it.

Ross,
Glad to see you're back on!

Keeping My Cable Connection Dry....

Thanks everyone. I nearly ran down to Burger King to get a free AOL CD. You know I'm about to go off the deep end if I resort to AOL! I'm going to have to find a freebie that I can download and use dial up service when the cable is down. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's out for a few days at a time. Of course I could always log more flight time in flight simulator, but that doesn't even scratch my back when it comes to checking the forums or email. ........And to think a few short years ago, I was totally against a computer!

Tommy Lee Jones?

Tommy Lee Jones?

Please explain what Tommy Lee is doing. Sticking something up his nose..looking at naked women..sniffing something? What???   Bon bon

Whatever Tommy Lee is doing is just fine w/me. Think we could get him on our calendar, too? Isn't our calendar now about up to 24 months?

I saw the place in NYC where they filmed "MEN IN BLACK" - loved the movie.

I ask a simple question

I ask a simple question

and you 3 hunky guys never did answer me. I probably took Grandson to see it..but I always sleep..He never knows. My favorite Tommy Lee Jones movie was Cobb..About Ty Cobb. I lived near the town of Royston Ga. where Ty was born and is buried...He gave a lot to that town, hospital, ect.Did yall know that he and Al gore were roomates in college? Not Ty Cobb silly Tommy Lee Jones:D Bon

Yeah, and Marlon Brando was roommate to Wally Cox (you remember Mr. Peepers) and the character of Oliver in "Love Story" by Erich Segal (you know "love is never having to say you're sorry") is based on those two roommates Tommy Lee and Al. It's true. So what! I'm dieting and getting mean.

Yes, I think Johnny is right Bonnie just was affected by the DENEUROLYZER or what ever it was called. I got zapped at the same time Tommy Lee did only he was able to be reconstituted. There is no hope for me.

Bonnie; I'm going to make some kind of pasta dish for dinner, I think my portion control guru will let me have a half a cup. Go Girl.

Since it is freezing cold in Fla..:p :p You will love that movie. ..He was mean as a snake..but very generous to his hometown. I lived near there for 25 years. On a farm in Carnesville, Ga. 1 red light.:D Bon..P.S. Measure that pasta...I'm having a slice of corn beef and a cup of lima beans.(Billy Bob and I are diet buddies). We are going to have game on the beach this summer:D :D :D

What did I miss???

What did I miss???

Just logged on tonight and I find out the place was falling apart! LOL...Poor, poor Ross. I am sure that he is happy:D to be back online. I however was busy skiing. Had a blast. It is snowing right now and we will be getting 12+ inches of snow!!! This time it is the light fluffy stuff that is great to ski on.

I always try to find a positive out of every situation. Snow=skiing and low INR = skiing.:D :D See--thingking positive works:D

Good for you Gisele! I bet you have a higher appreciation for the sport now. It amazing what a rush it is to partake in something that most deem 'taboo'.

My cardiologist gave me the green light to Ski. Some of you may be thinking 'he must be a quack'.Far from it actually;). It took me a long time to realize I am still a young woman with a lot more living to do! The day I am told to slow down, so be it. Until then full speed ahead.

Now we just need the snow:D . Expecting a bit tomorrow. We usually head for the IL/WI border locally here to ski.Still need that helmut:eek:

Good for you Gina!

Good for you Gina!

My doc doesn't like the idea one bit, but hey he isn't the one that has to go without. I have already resorted myself to the fact that I cannot get my belly button pierced (tried it once, but INR was too high and I bled for 12 hours and lost 2 pints of blood. ER doc had to remove it  ) But skiing, I figure if I ski cautiously, and I don't do anything crazy that I will be fine. I just worry sometimes about the snowboarders that I can hear coming up from behind me that are going at such a high rate of speed-but then again some skiers come flying down also.

I am a little wreckless in the helmet dept though. I have been skiing since I was 9 and I know wearing a helmet is the proper, safe, and smart thing to do, but I am happy just wearing my ski hat.

Heading for the White Mountains to Waterville Valley NH at the end of the month for my birthday. I can't wait to go. I think I will try to ski on Sunday (locally) seeing as we are currently getting such a big storm! Yeah!!!:D :D

What mountains are in IL/WI??? It's fun to go onto web sites and see other areas.
