Ribs spreader

Hello!

I am 10 weeks post op from a right thorac where they spread my ribs to go in... I am wondering if the ribs go back together? I was feeling them last night and yup they are still spread apart and sore... Thank you!

They should return to the right place and shape soon ....six months at max
