Ask him if it feels like a metronome is keeping beat inside his head. Mine felt like that for a year and still does occasionally. I think the consensus of opinion is the blood flow is improved and one can feel the force of it.
I can remember thinking that surely other people could see my head moving, because it sure felt like it was.

I don't think I had a fever post op. I would keep my eye on that, but I'm sure they are too.

It's good to read that the improvement has been so noticeable. I hope it's all smooth sailing from here on out.:)

I had a big, long...

I had a big, long...

...winded post but I guess I didn't submit it and now it's gone.

In short, I bet the "bobbling" is from the meds or the neck IV. I am surprised they don't have that IV out. That makes a HUGE difference. The temp is not such a big deal if it is under 101. Use the "breathing thingy" they surely gave him and that will help with any fluid and infection that may try to start in his lungs. I could feel the "gurgling" when I didn't use it regularly.
Look for BIG improvements in blocks of weeks, not days. 10 days out I was whining. 14 days out I felt 90% better. 3 weeks + 2, I don't remember day 10. Just give it time.
Good luck on further improvements. BE PATIENT!!!

P.S. Any word on the job?
