RangerScat Update

Hi...I am posting this update for rangerscat..within the past hour he is now POST SURGERY!
The latest news I have is that everything went well and he is on his way to CVICU.
I am told that the Doctor actually took a picture of the faulty valve for John to see (SOON!) and it clearly shows that not only was it bi cuspid but it also has a hole!!
His wife, mother and sisters are waiting to go see him the moment they are allowed and I will post an update as soon as I know more.

One thing I would like to add.... THANK YOU to all of you for your support and prayers for John!!! I am sure in just a few days he will on his laptop updating you all himself.

Hi John's brother-in-law -

Thanks for the update; glad to hear things went well!

His main priority tonight will be to negotiate and con his nurse out of as many ice chips as possible because he'll be thinking that he's going to die of thirst. But if he is able to get too many ice chips, he may vomit and that will be highly unpleasant after what he's been through. Tomorrow should be a much better day.
