Rain is here

We are now getting the rain so needed in the South..every afternoon for past 3 days around 3 P.M we have a huge storm..Now..rain if running down our road..heavy......and heard it was in South Ga. this a.m. where the wildfires have been.....Need it for the farmers...their fields are so dry..Hope others in South are getting this rain..Bonnie

I know they are getting it in FL, Bonnie. My DIL and two grand daughters flew from Baltimore to West Palm Beach this afternoon to visit my DIL's father and they were delayed 30 minutes due to thunderstorms, but made it okay.

WE GOT RAIN late yesterday afternoon! oh, we are soooo happy. Only had 3 rains since Feb! Oh, my, it was wonderful. Except it all fell at once. Our porch was under water! It's right on the ground anyway, but it was truly flooded. Lightning and thunder everywhere. It knocked out our stove hood fan & light and the automatic igniter for the gas stove isn't working either but that's all the damage we got. there were fires locally and trees/limbs down all over. But WE GOT RAIN! Hallelujah. Somebody finally paid the preacher enough.

Alas, no rain today. No more in sight, either.
