This is the catholic church on the Jemez Pueblo. The Indian designs you see painted on the wall were done by my friend John Toya, who is also the eagle dancer I have long sought to photograph. He says we can do it, but it hasn't hapened yet. The eagle reagale is gorgeous.

I don't have a picture of the bride, but she is GORGEOUS. And smart, and nice. I don't think the groom thought anything stupid happened that day. In the tradition of the Jemez, he had to supply her family with a year's supply of firewood, supply food for many dinners throughout the Pueblo, and present her with a fortune of jewelry. And he still left the church with a big grin on his face!
