Private messages

How do you find your private messages now and how do you send one? I can't find a icon that says anything about receiving or sending one. Am I just nuts?

Glenda...if you have a private message you will see an indication under "notifications," which appears along the top of your screen. You can send a private message by clicking on the name of a member and following the prompts. Hope this helps.

It is easy to miss that you have a notification. I many times don't realize I have a message, so I will have to train myself to look there on purpose.

BTW, I always get an email message sent to my regular email address whenever someone sends me a PM at VR.org. Doesn't everybody?

The key to the whole maze of PM's seems to eminate from the "settings" areas ( pural ) first is at the top right of page then mid left of page that appears

That is an option you can choose to have or not, but it is handy.

I've only opted to receive emails from administrators just to cut down on my total emails.

On the forum page right above the different forums ther is the red part and the heading private messages is there and click on that ... just follow it. The inbox and send new message is there and at the send page at the bottom it says submit message. Ross had to show me with a copy of the page. He sent it to my private email.

Bina - Started using the Coaguchek last week. Starting to get the hang of it. Question - when do you test? ie in the morning before a meal? After a meal?
Also, when do you take Warfarin? AM, PM?
