Well, you can see we Americans are very passionate folks, Jacqui. I do hope President Obama's visit to Ireland proves to be a pleasant occasion both for you and your country, and for him. As I said, I am not a fan of his politics, but I wish him and his family well on a personal basis. I understand why people around the world consider him a charismatic figure. So enjoy if you get to see him. Tell him Superbob would love to be invited to one of his "beer summits."

I really meant my statement in this same way. I'm sure most of us wish him well personally. I don't get the charismatic appeal, but that's not what is important regarding this visit. So, enjoy it Jacqui and sorry if you were made to feel uncomfortable.

We are getting Barrack Obama 25/03 and 26/03 he will address a joint sitting of the both houses of parliament.
I would like to be in the public gallery for this, most US presidents have only visited Australia in the world "fare well tour" at the end of their second term.
The US is fortunate to have such a progressive visionary leader in such uncertain times.
