Well, I had all my pre-op tests done Thursday, had a possible TIA Tuesday, they found "some calcification" on my brain and the surgeon hasn't returned my call. So apparently I'm suppose to wait around all weekend wondering what that means.

Tuesday I was walking in the house and my left leg started acting up. I had to force it to go down, it kept going up. Then it didn't feel like my foot was on the floor. Felt heavy and awkward. Then it happened with my left arm, but not as noticeable. I went to walk outside, down the stairs and it was clumsy abit. The whole thing lasted 15 minutes. So they added a ct scan of the brain and a doppler of the carotid arteries.

The best part of Thursday was running into my hero, Dr. Arnold Levine, who was there for me every single step of the way, as a support person and friend, during the first heart nightmare. I don't think we had seen eachother since 1992 or so. I love that man and he saved my life. So we chatted a bit and he put Wed. into his palm pilot. He said he'll come see me. :) I think it was a good omen to run into him.

After all the tests my sister and I went out for margaritas! LOL. Apparently two is too many for me. Haha. But it was fun. Thank God for sisters.

I'll try to post before Wed. but I'm having a hard time concentrating and doing anything. Just a tad overwhelmed. I've got to find my inner chi or whatever the hell that is and stop googling and ebaying!! Did get a Juicy Couture sweater for $25.00 though!:D

Here's to you Peggy.....

Here's to you Peggy.....

....Cheers!

It's just so happens I'm having a Margarita right now as I'm reading this (Salvador's pre-mix....they're great!).

Glad to hear you are having fun. It's the best way to pass the time before starting the journey. ;)
