For those who don't read the Anticoagulation forum, someone had the idea of starting a thread in a place where all would see. Hopefully, this will do it. You can go and read the thread for more detailed info. http://valvereplacement.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17369 but please keep Ross in your thoughts and prayers as he sees the doctor about what he fears may be an upper GI bleed. Ross has not had positive experiences with his hospital visits, so think good thoughts!

I don't think we'll hear anything soon.
When I asked him if he was going to post anything after he saw the doctor, he said " . . .eventually."
I talked to him about how to get information if I couldn't reach him at home, so if worse comes to worse, I can track him down, but I think he is hoping that we will keep him in our thoughts and prayers and just give him some time.
I am going to honor that wish, but if it goes on too long, I will release the hounds!

Ross, keep in mind about argon vapor cauterization which can be done if the bleeding is in your stomach. It's pretty benign. It worked for Joe. He still may have some areas of bleeding further down below the stomach area, but the things in his stomach stopped enough that his bloodcounts came back up.

Something to ask about anyway.

Then there that unusual pill endoscopy. It's a little camera that you swallow and it can look at the upper GI tract that is hard to get to. It goes right through your system taking pix all the way down, and then it just goes bye-bye in the toilet. Pretty slick.
