Please accept my most sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved sister. It seemed she was such a fighter and it must be hard to accept that this inevitability has occurred. I am sure you will always be grateful for the time you chose to spend with her during these last, so difficult months.

As Ann says, I'm sure she will be with you, always.

My sincere deepest condolences and prayers go out to her and the family. I really didn't expect to hear this.

Thanks to all my dear VR family for their prayers, best wishes and condolences during this long, hard fought fight. The stroke she suffered was totally unexpected, but the road she had traveled so far fighting the Multiple Myeloma was so difficult and she had so many problems (kidney failure, pelvis fracture, etc.) that I must say I am relieved that she is finally at peace and will not have to face any more pain. I lost my oldest sister when she was only 49 and now my middle sister at 74 and I know you all understand just how painful it is. There is nothing like a sister and now I have none, but she like my oldest sister will always be with me in spirit. She will be buried in New London and the funeral is on Monday, so Dick and I will fly home on Sunday and return here on Tuesday so that we can prepare for the trip home by car around April 23rd. Either I or Mary will post the obituary once it is published. Again thank you for your support and prayers- they mean so very much!
Hugs to you all,
Phyllis

Phyllis, so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort that she is at peace. For me, a death during the Easter season is a significant time. We lost my husband's grandmother seven years ago, on Good Friday, she was a devoted Catholic. Today is Holy Thursday, and your sister going home to our lord reminds us of his suffering he endured for us. Good Friday, our lord was at rest, your dear sister is now at rest. She will rise again as our lord has promised, and we will all be together with our loved ones one day.

I hope that you can find peace in your memories of your sister, find hope in the Easter season, and comfort that many of us here join in your sorrow.

Phyllis...your loss is monumental. I haven't experienced the loss of a sibling but I know how much my one and only sister means to me. The dedication and strength you have shown over the last months during your sisters illness speaks volumes about you. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Phyllis,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your sister. My heart goes out to you! I know how you feel since losing the second of my seven sisters this past November. Your sister will always be with you in spirit. She is at peace now after all the struggling she has gone through for the past few months. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

Dear Phyllis,

My deepest condolences to you & your family. Your sister Louise is finally at peace -- no more pain, no more suffering. The good Lord knew it was time & he cradled her in his arms & took her home where she will be waiting for the rest of you to join her one day.

Prayers to you & all!
