Peanut butter recall

Two brands of peanut butter, Peter Pan and Great Value, with lids having a product code beginning with "2111" have been associated with a salmonella outbreak.

All I can say is leave my Jif and Skippy alone. I can't live without peanut butter.

We had a new jar of the Peter Pan with the number 2111 on the lid (the culprit) and Dick ate some last night- no signs of anything yet- it's going in the garbage or back to Publix for a refund!

Goodness gracious! We're right at the bottom of a 4 pound jar of PP with that code on the top!

I just read the CDC article and I did indeed have a bout of the runs after eating that stuff!
