Well, here we go. Get the cath done on Firday at 7am. YUCK!!! 7am. That hurts more then anything they could do to me. To have me get up early and put on all the make-up and do the hair, (all of which I have to nap in between) is BRUTAL. Why couldn't I have been the afternoon procedure. Then I would be complianing about not being able to eat all day. Now----are you still all sure you want me here whining and complaining all the time. :D :D :D Have the appt with the surgeon on Thurs the 14th. All my blood work looks good, so things could be moving quick now????? I kinda hope so as I don't move so quick anymore. Just wondering-----I know I read somewhere that the worst things were the faster they got worse. But what about an uncomfortable pain in shoulder blade that seems to come on every evening/night. The more "active" I have been during the day the sooner I notice the discomfort. And sometimes, though not very often, the same type of nag in my side just to the side of my breast. See whine, whine whine. Anyone got some cheese and crackers. Take care and thanks in advance. :p Laurie

Laurie,
Looks like you are just about good-to-go. Did you set up the plastic surgeon for a breast implants and face lift to occur at the same time? I've told my husband that if I ever have to have surgery again, it's going to be very comprehensive and the cardiac surgeon will have to make room for the guy that's going to "freshen me up". :)

Thanks Ross how very sweet of you, and a BIG uhhhh wish I would have on the plastic surgeon. However the estimate was not a one hour job like Les Schwab, but a three day minimun. :D Laurie

Excellent idea - as long as you're going under the knife, may as well take some measures to counteract the effects of gravity over the years. I'm a guy, so I should have gotten lipsuction and replacement treatments to remove my paunch and make my shoulders broader. I'd say, "Maybe next time." but wouldn't you know - I got a mechanical in the hope that there won't be a next time.
