I'm just amazed at all the variables of peoples feelings before surgery and after surgery. Some people have moderate stenosis and have symptoms as if their about to die and some people have critical stenosis and don't complain about any symptoms; and everything in between. Some people are completely out of shape and have great recoveries and some people are the perfect image of health and practicality die during recovery. Amazing!

And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

— John Gillespie Magee, Jr

Even though I have flown in aerobatic planes, I never truly understood what he meant.

He was not talking about flying, he was talking about what happens when a persons spirit is lifted into a new experience, where it has not been before and that cannot be explained intellectually.

That is the diverse journey I spoke of.

That is the gift we have been given.

None of our paths run parallel, but they do dissect, here, at this site.

Our journeys must be our own.
