Okay. Thanks guys! I found another problem that I'm not sure is normal or if I should call my doctors office...I got nauseous during dinner tonight, couldn't eat much, but was fine eating all day yesterday. Did you guys have days where you got nauseous and days where you didn't? Was there anything other than lots of ginger ale that helped? I'm so nervous I did something wrong :/

Considering what your body just went through phsically, combined with lots of drugs and anethesia it wil take awhile for your body to stay normal. you'll probably experience nausea, fever, chills for awhile I'd think. However those same symptoms also could indicate something more serious and I'm not sure how one would tell the differance
.
Are you scheduled to see a doctor soon anyway. Everyone's schedule to see doctors, surgeons, cardiologists seem to be different. I was told to schedule an appointment with family doctor seven days after hospital for a checkup and 14 days after hospital for staple removal.

So maybe an appointment to see your doctor is reasonable even if you are OK. Also, I took some type of pill for about a month for my stomach because of severe nausea I got from the operation induced ileus. If your stomach and intestines aren't fuctioning well and you continue to shove food into it, you could end up with a painful blockage.
