At our last house we had a real problem with the rabbits. I ended up buying the great big bags of carrots and cut them up and would put them in several areas of the yard. It spared some of my plants and I did think the rabbits were cute.

He he he that's cute Bonnie.

When my daughter was born we lived in a townhouse for the first few years. "Common property" So....neighbor lady next door decided to put moth balls down to keep the rabbits out of the flower beds. I asked he kindly not to as we had a toddler that was getting into everything. Ummmmmmm, candy, LOL. As you can imagine:eek:

Would you beleive she continued! Would smell them when I exited my front door and would proceed to have a 'moth ball' hunt with my daughter in the background trying to pick them up too. What a royal toxic pain.

Jerry Baker says that mothballs do work for keeping all the little varmints out of the garden....but, I have an outside cat during the day. In at night..and I would be afraid he would want to nibble one....Have dropped my coumadin pill once or twice on floor..and they (dog and 2 cats run to see what it was.  At Dad's last week..I dropped it on King size bed. Took me forever to find it..Was afraid my dog would find it. Human hair works great on deer too..Bonnie

Have dropped my coumadin pill

Bonnie, just did it the other day. 1/2 mg. Could not find it anywhere. My kitty sniffed it out. Go figure! We were right there to get it away from her! Kara understands it can make anyone other than Mom very sick if they take it.
