You might consider the mechanical due to your age. I just had an On-X put in at UCLA by Dr. Laks. Google him and you'll get some good stuff. It's possible that us On-X valvers might not need anything but aspirin in a couple of years. Or maybe it's coumadin for life -- but it's really just another pill.
