Need immediate help (lovenex)

All seems to be going good and staying on reg dose i'd take weekly and
2 shots in tummy daily.......gotta luv this partim trying to do a picture on
my belly with each injection comes tiny bruise so all these tiny black dots
i should be able to have a small,looks like connect the dots when done
and kinda look forward to each 12 hr injection of small sting,
could i become a belly junky?

I was actually beginning to love to give myself injections. My wife thought I was nuts but she wouldn't do it. Still don't know why, but I thought it was fun.

i'LL UPDATE ANOTHER DOT,(lovenox) AFTER 1.5 INR ON MY MACHINE

tHATS SO GOOD TO SEE I'M ING. with increase

SO I'LL DO THE WARFARIN DOSE AGAIN AT 7 MG TODAY AT 5 PM

AND LAST NIGHT DECIDED TO GO TO THE POOL,AND EVEN CUS OF

SWELLING AND SOB I NEEDED TO VENT SEEING AS IM PUTTING OFF ANY

DRUG RIGHT NOW TO RELAX ME TO SLEEP.I slept amazingly, that my mom

bless her was standing at my bed looking at me this morning,saying are

you alive,cus i slept so well and slept past 8am.It was priceless as she

came to investagate my sleep habit. OHHHHH what else could she

say she was concerned.

We are still laughing about it today.

My Doc can't believe how after all this initial shock to my system

of going to surgery,off warfarin,no surgery,that im coping so well

and handling my own injections as thats usually difficult to do.

this part was funny too my Doc asked me if i took the extra 3 mg.of

warfarin yesterday as he suggested? i said no,he said good for you

and i shook my head and he hugged me and said you know what your

doing and hopefully when i hit inr 2 i can stop the injections

i will miss them and the connect the dots for sure,My hubby

laughingly says i'm crazy,but he loves me anyway

so thats my lovenox scoop for today,and you've all been so great

to me with responses i could not imagine if i was alone doing the

lovenox what would we do without Hank founding this,omgosh

i was there in 1992 and don't ever be alone again.....thanks Hank

Yes, this is also how I finally got my degree...squeeze 4 years of college
into 10 years

When I was in the hospital post op tissue valve replace ,they wouldn't
let me leave until I reached my target (2-3).But the minute I got to 1.8,
I was proclaimed anti coagulated....the doctors were ecstatic.
So even though your valve is mechanical, as Ross said- you are
pretty much 'there' at 1.9. Hope you are feeling better

Well i,m officially off the injections now

Inr hit 2.1 and i've been put through mill

as family Dr is checking by numerous tests to see where i stand with

my heart enlargement,etc,etc,etc and no available surgery right now.

he has found abit more enlargement but seems to think it could be the

spironolactone adding to this also at this time

well whatever hes spoken to Edmonton and so far no news on date

and he has told them that 10 weeks just would be inappropriate due

to my circumstances right now.

Apparently 2 specialist surgeons from out of country were to assist

my surgeon who broke his leg in 3 places was to attend and they need

my surgeons assistance to do this surgery because of swelling and the

enlargement of the heart ,so this isn't gonna get better on it's own

obviously and i and my family Dr feel if it takes 10 weeks or however

long,they arenot going to move any faster,i can't yell cus, then I will

get a surgeon who isn't ready for all the high risk consequences.

So have few more tests to do today and what can i say,i sit sickly,

patiently,prayerfully and wait,i know my surgeons already waited too

long,and we can't change this,i'm just scared more damage will result

as we wait.

Thats all i know for now and when and if some new developement

happens i will start a new thread .

Is there any way your Doctor can arrange for your surgery to be done at a Major Heart Hospital in the USA, such as Cleveland Clinic, or Mayo Clinic, or other Big Heart Center?
