My surgery is this Friday & I got questions

Bryan, thanks for the info. I will make sure I take the pain meds and have that pillow with me at all times as not only do I cough in the morning, I sometimes get bouts of sneezing. - Gord

Jeanie - The advice regarding glue on the exterior of the incision is a great idea, I will enquire when I go in on Monday for surgery. - Gord

I just realized anew that you are in Canada! (I had forgotten that.) I believe the latest and greatest thing in glue, the Kryptonite is being used in Canada already, see http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2009/11/12/breastbone-heart-surgery.html - sorry I did not think of that sooner. If I understand correctly, this is not just for the external but also for internally, on the sternum itself.
