Sorry I was late coming on chat tonight. Hope you are feeling better.:) :) Our hospital..which has a heart wing.. No one would have to wait.:) :) Also, I knew to send Grandson by ambulance to ER..when he was having a bad cramping..5 days after he had just been there with all tests run..Sure enough appendix.. Brought in to back..surgeon there in 5 minutes..operated on..:) :)NO way..I would have taken him to regular ER waiting room..... .....Just too many people there in regular ER..with stomach virus, flu, ect....would have taken too long...In 2 years..I have never had bad things togo wrong..but believe me..I will call 911 and let them take me down.:) They go right thru the back...where the doctor's are...and my Grandson's paramedic's stayed until they found out..my Grandson was in good hands.:) :) :) :) Have not gotten the bill..but who cares. His appendix could have ruptured . 2 weeks later..back to his old self:D Thank goodness...I take no meds at age 63..Just my coumadin.. All tests run by my PCP shows normal. Good genes. Dad will be age 90 this year.:D Bonnie

Christina,

I didn't tell you either how glad I am you are feeling better again. It must have been scary. Waiting that long is deplorable. I don't know what was going on behind the ER doors but someone with your history and symptoms should have been a priority!
