Minneapolis Bridge

I have been in Minneapolis for several weeks helping my parents. My camera has sat in the corner until tonight. I gave myself an early birthday present and took 1/2 day off with my camera.

I wanted to take a picture of the new highway 35 bridge-the replacement for the bridge that failed with great loss of life two years ago. After a lot of looking around, I found a spot for my picture. The blue light you see in the evening picture is from the new bridge.

Thanks for sharing. The site is super quality for me.... took me to XL2 and had to downgradge to XL to be sure I had it all, but love the black backdrop and set up.

Amazing....and the smugmug.com site works very well.
I viewed the pics on XL size as well as the L size. Both were great.

Those pictures were beautiful. I love the colors in the second one. Do you use a different lens for that kind of lightening? Glad you got some pictures taken while you were in Minneapolis.

I used the same lens for both-I used a tripod for the evening shot. There was a guy fishing down at the river that night who must have fancied himself to be an expert photographer. While I was setting up the shot he kept telling me I was there at the wrong time, the picture couldn't possibly turn out, etc. I am glad you guys liked it.
