One of the dads on my CHD lists will be on Miami Ink tonight (Tues) on TLC. They live in Pa and He wanted a tatoo to honor his son's heart surgery so applied to be on the show, they had to tell what they wanted and why, he was chosen and has a tatoo tha represents Gods hands holding his son's repaired (post fontan)heart, that the dad designed. how cool! I LOVE Miami Ink and even better to have a 'heart dad' on there! Will have to watch for that one over here - we're a few weeks behind you I think?

I watched it and it was very cool. He did such a great job of expressing his thoughts on having a child with CHD.
Emma, our program guide didn't give any hint that he was on the episode. So look for one that has people getting a Geisha tattoo, a pin-up girl tattoo and Kat's Mom being around and cooking. The Dad doesn't make his way in until about 20 minutes in, just briefly and the majority of his story is about 40 minutes into the show. Post a pic of your tat when you get it!!!

I thought they did a really nice job about letting him talk about CHD and what it is ect. this episode (that I don't know the name of ) will be on a few more times in the US according to the family."For anyone who missed the airing tonight, we've learned that it will be on again April 3 at 9:00 p.m., April 4 at 12:00 a.m., and April 15 at 6:00 p.m"
