If an ID bracelet is expected to be worn 24/7 and maintain its good looks, it is wise to
invest in a quality item....or expect to replace it every couple of years.
When a "gold" bracelet is purchased for a low price, it surely is only gold plate;
however, gold plating on a silver bracelet is usually quite durable.
My sterling silver bracelet has a protective coating on it.....it doesn't chip, and doesn't tarnish.
The engraving is deep and is as perfect as the day I got it.
I don't want to sound like a sales rep, but sometimes it's just worth it to spend a bit and buy from a reputable organization.
