MAZE Procedure with AVR surgery

I had my 2nd OHS on 2/10/2012 tricuspid valve replacement, right atrium reduction and a biatrial Maze procedure to cure my A-fib......Im 7 weeks out and Im in persistant A fib which feels chronic. I see my surgeon in 4 days in which I`m going to ask for a cardioversion...the Maze procedure hasnt worked for me upto now

Hi Lee - So sorry to hear you're still experiencing A-fib at this far out from your surgery, especially in a persistent bout. I hope the cardio version helps. Please let us know how it goes and keep us updated.
