Matt - Post Surgery 6 days.

Hey!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I made it! :thumbup:

I am six days today post op and I actually feel great.

THE BEST NEWS:
DR. Pettersson REPAIRED MY VALVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My chest does not hurt much, it's more my back. Today is the first day I don’t feel really foggy nor "high"

I guess now it's more the waiting game for everything to heal up.. I am pretty bored not being at work. Ha-ha but I will take the mini vacation.

The day of my surgery *July 12th, Dr. Pettersson kept telling me that a repair would probably not happen... I was pretty bummed out.. But when I awoke the first thing my mom said was "He repaired it!" I lifted up my right hand and just gave a big thumbs up! Then realized I had that tube which sucked badly.


I just wanted to thank everyone of you that has given me prayer and support. It has been wonderful. I hope to give the same to many others as you did me.

Great news!! I bet the fact he was able to repair your valve, lets you know even MORE that you made the right decidion by getting a 2nd opinion and not just going to the hospital your cardiologist recomended. Keep up the good work, my son was 19 when he had his last OHS so I can imagine how bored you can be..maybe this is a good time to think of a new hobby you'd like to try...or better yet i'm sure Lindsay would be thrlled if you offered to whip up the wedding or shower favors while you have all this time to sit around
