Hey Christian

Hey Christian

You can get it but it will be rated up. If you all ready have a policy your best bet is to have the amount on it increased. My policy has a clause in it where I can increase the amount every 5 years 3 times. I hope this helps you out.
Take Care

Christian, I don't know if this gives you any insight but I have (and always had) supplimental insurance from work. I wanted to increase it a bit and was concerned if I could. Well, we just had open enrollment and to my relief it specifically said an enrollee could bump their coverage up to $500,000 before a medical check is required. So my AVR was a moot point. However, I don't know how similar to each other life ins. cos. are.

Trying the 2nd time

Last year for open enrollment, I tried to increase mine to 500,000 from the basic of 100,000 and was denied the increase. We are in open enrollment again right now so I am in the process of trying again.
