So far, mine hasn't come back. Anyone know anything that they'd care to share?
My card didn't come back either. She might have gone to her mother's for a while but that is just speculation. Wherever she is I hope she is still steadily improving.

My card hasn't returned yet either. I do know for certain that over the phone she told me that she was going to her mother's home when she left rehab.
Why wouldn't the rehab just forward to her mother's home?
If anyone figures anything out, please post your findings.

The card came back in the mail today for me too!

On Lettitia or Nicole...They are very special here on VR..with all their great help to all newbies. I will find them. Come hell or high water. We lost Martha..and she was so great with her help to all of us. If I didn't have Jury duty..would get in my motorhome and go find them Maybe I can get Card. to excuse me Tuesday.For my 18 month checkup. (Jury duty..dud. ) Bonnie

Has anyone been able to get her current address? My card just came back this afternoon. I know she is probably with her mother, but I don't have that address or her home address.
Maybe we could have a voluntary form for members to fill out that could be viewed only by Ross and or Hank containing personal information for times like these. That way we would have an address to forward to. What d'ya think?

Mine came back yesterday, too. Marked 'returned for better address' ??? Didn't we send it to the right hospital address? Just wondrin.

Mine came back "return to sender' and the address and her name and room number was crossed out with a marker.
The only thing they left on the envelope was the name of the rehab and my return address.
Why wouldn't they forward to her? Odd isn't it?

I posted the address as it was given to me by Lettitia. Her mom went to the nurses station and asked for it. Looking at anywho, maybe they want it sent to a P.O. Box instead? Why they didn't do it themselves, I don't know but here's what anywho has for the place:

She is supposed to go home tomorrow. She had told me Oct 1st-so assuming that all has gone well, it isn't worth resending the card.
Has anyone called her recently? Maybe she went home earlier than anticipated.
Guess we will have to wait for her to come home and post again on the boards.

I figured we wait now. I haven' t called in a long time, so it's possible she is already out. If someone wouldn't mind giving her a jingle, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it. I'm maxed out moneywise on long distance calls this month.

she sound wonderful, southern accent and all!
She is going home tomorrow and the cards can be redirected to her home address which she has given to me. If you e-mail me I will be glad to send it to you rather than post a home address on the internet for all to see.
She will be staying with her grandmother for a while who lives closeby.
By the way, she didn't understand why our cards were returned as she had received mail with the very same address. She said she would complain to the post office with her new cane! LOL guess she is ready to go home, don't you think?

Thank you so much Gisele. I just looked at the calendar and it makes 56 days for her. That's 4 days short of my record. I'm not at all proud of that record either. I know what it was like for me, so I know what it's like for her. It'll be great to have her back here with us.
I'd like to know what the post offices problem is down there myself. I've never seen them do something like that before. They always forward, especially if it's the correct address to a P. O. Box! Someone needs a new one reamed.
I'm not even going to open and change envelopes. I'm just going to put the card, marked and all, in a new envelope and mail it that way. She can see what they did. That makes me very angry!
