I'm supposed to go in for a checkup this summer, so guess I'll find out if this is to be expected since I'm maturing (I'll be 49 on Wednesday) or not. Seems to me they told me not to be surprised if I needed something for close work.
Yes unfortunately if you already had lasik for myopic in both eyes you can not have lasik for reading. My reading vision is about as bad as it will get according to the Doctor. So by having Laksik surgery different in each eye(one eye for reading and the other eye for far away ) I should be able to see far and read without glasses or contacts. The brain has to get use to it thus wearing contacts different for each eye. If I can do okay with the contacts then I will go ahead with the surgery.
