Best wishes for the both you! You will definitely be in all our thoughts and prayers. And btw, about the betta fish....the males are MUCH prettier than the females. (I did a project on them in undergrad, such a nerd!) So typically the ones you see in the store are males. So if Friend is very pretty, then he's a male. Sorry...it's the vet student in me, I have to lecture. Hehe! Godspeed to Katie!

I was hoping she might post, too. I called her cell phone a few times on Sunday, trying to figure out if we might be able to meet up somewhere...but, I never did hear back from her.
