Thank you all so much! I certainly don't feel 50! Ross - if your oxygen tubing can reach here - I would consider allowing the spanking. (We should all watch for the video on the national news of some crazy man from Ohio dragging himself to Chicago.)

I do stop and give pause - because 17 years ago I never ever thought I'd make it to 50, let alone be blessed with the wonderful, relatively healthy life I've had. Thank you God!

I'll speak to Aultman home medical about a support truck taking me or rolling out enough line just so I can make it reality!

My husband and my best friend conspired and threw me a surprise party. I was totally oblivious to the plot. (Very unlike my DH, so I wasn't even expecting anything.)

Okay,so for December 6th ,my 'Birthday Book of Days' calls this day,
"The Day of Extraction" because people born on this day are able to

Thanks! That's fun information. Pretty much has my personality pegged except for the "controlling" (that's my husband!) I like the fact that many musical people are born on that day, since music is my job and my passion.

Let me guess - Lorne Greene was your first real love? Mine was David Cassidy, but I do remember those years of Bonanza well. I must admit that I thought Adam Cartwright was quite hot, even though in real life he's older than my dad!

Happy belated birthday!! You don't look 50!! I am not far behind you - next year is the big 5-0 for me.

I do think it is wild how fast life goes - I don't know how I got here. I do think life only gets better as we age, because we are so grateful to still be here.

Live your next 50 years to the fullest as you have done with your first 50!!
