I just visited the memorial website; it's beautiful. While I didn't know Joe, your loving and thoughtful tribute has really moved me.

I am so sad to hear of Joe's passing. Thank you for sharing your wonderful husbands' life with us. You and Joe's courage to fight till the end has indeed deeply touched my heart. From your posts in VR.com we seemed like friends already even though we have never met in face but sharing Joe's medical condiction and how your both dealt with it has helped so many people reaching out for hope.
I hope my words can bring you some comfort. I wish you blessing as you have blessed others out there who like me was reaching out for hope and encouragement. Thank you for Joe.
Oh my dear, dear Nancy. How I remember your love and faithfulness to your dear Joe all these years. Yes, you both were and always will be in our thoughts, memories and hearts.

Joe put up the good fight, and we've all learned from him.
I don't usually view the memorial tributes because it makes us all so mortal. I am deeply saddened to hear of Joe's death. I feel as thought I have lost a friend even though I never knew him. As has been said you both have been a wonderful inspiration to so many here. He will be missed. I hope you will continue to keep in touch with this family of yours.
Nancy, I have read your posts for several years now. Joe certainly fought the good fight, and with you by his side he had an army. I'm so sorry for your loss, but what an inspiration he was to so many. Peace be with you now.
Oh, Nancy... I only just now saw this thread. As others have said, just reading the title made my heart sink and begin to ache. Joe will be missed by all of us, even though we never met. My prayers go out to you and your family. (((hugs)))
Nancy,
I have been out of the link for quite some time, and so I just read this post. I am so very sorry. May Gods Peace and comfort be with you. Both Joe and yourself have certainly comforted so many of us. May we be available for you now and in the days to come. We have some pretty big shoulders around here Nancy.
