Two more surgeries this week- JBrown on Tuesday and Lynn on Wed. Wishing you the best for successful surgeries and uneventful recoveries. Godspeed to you both!
Hoping you find the peace that so many talk about as they walk through those hospital doors. Will be thinking of you Lynn!lynn said:Nerves are starting to set in
OOPS- sorry I jumped the gun, but we will be thinking of you when you see the doctor!jbrown413 said:That I (jbrown) knows of. i have an appointment with dr gus at mass general on tues. since the aneurysm is 5.8, and i have BAVD, i will be bringing my bag so i can stay if he wants me to, but from what i hear from others, he prefers to schedule things. will update on tues. and thanks for your concerns.
also, watched the lecture about when to do aorta surgery, by dr eric i (also at mgh) on the bicuspidfoundation.com site. great lecture, and i emailed him to thank him. i told him of my appt with dr gus, and said we might meet in my travels there. he emailed back the very next day to offer to be my new cardio guy, an offer i will happily take. boy what a difference from the my past cardio who released me from treatment 3 yrs post-op, and who didnt even know about bavd when i insisted on a new echo this year.
