Before daylight, when I posted before, it was pouring buckets - We won't be traveling today at all. Too much weather still abounds and traffic heading home will be a definite deterrent. There is much flooding here in Atlanta area and I guess where Danny is, too. I bet he is w/o power. Bonnie, hope you aren't sliding down the mountain - iT LOOKs llike this one (Dennis) is going to leave his fingerprints in bunches of places.

Daddy's phone rings but NO answer which means..phone lines are down, too...Hate that..and the fact that he didn't get to drink his pot of coffee.. :D He will be fine, tho..Brother will go over later and check on him...Bonnie

I live near Newnan.Ga. We had 10 inches of rain overnight. Ann are you still in Newnan? I am at work now and it was a hard drive in. Almost every signal light out. Somehow we never lost power for more than a few minutes. I work in Clayton County and it is pouring down rain and thundering here now.
We just turned the pump off on the pool and opened the drain. We'll have to deal with it after all this rain. I hope everyone in Florida and Alabama did okay and didn't have too much damage.

I'M BACK!!!!!!

Finally got power back at 1145 PM last night. Did a quick check on the TV weather reports then went to bed. Looks like the worse rain went up through the middle of Georgia. Columbus recorded gusts of 65 MPH. Think that was the squall that went through and took out our power. Today they are forecasting for more rain and possible TS throughout the day. Hope I don't loose power again.

Did a quick walk around the property this morning. Got small limbs all over the place and several big limbs. Doesn't look like I've lost any whole trees. I'll have to wait until the rain stops to go out and pick up. Where is that "roun-tuit"?????? Dawg pen looks like a small lake. They don't even want to stick their noses out of their houses to greet me. Can't blame them.

I've also got to call my friendy contractor and get an insurance estimate on replacing several shingles. Haven't had a chance to check the barn.

Hope everyone else came through this OK. But as I said in another thread "BEND OVER", there are three (yes three) depressions coming out of Africia and heading this way. YUCK!!!!!!

May God Bless,

Danny
