Great suggestion Karlynn. I agree, my daughter is old enough to understand a little. The other day I was trying not to pick her up, and explain that I would hold her later, etc... I dont think it was good timing though.. Turns out she has an ear infection.. So, needless to say.. it didnt go well.
Bonnie, I dont have any high school aged family/friends.. although.. I do have a good friend whos daughter is in high school. Thats a good idea!
I really am lucky, because I have so much family and support. Its hard to except it, and hard to except that I may need it. Everyone always says, "oh, just give me a call, I will come take Savannah (daughter) for the day." But, its going to be really hard for me to take someone up on that offer. At least, I feel like it will.. I might feel totally different after surgery.
