It's a change alright.....I used to have an Airedale or Labrador on my lap....this dog is easier on the legs. LOL
I won't spoil him because then they can get snappy, but he will have a great life.

glad to hear you found a new friend, sounds like he is going to make a great addition !

One of my two came home from the hospital yesterday after surgery. He is a 110 lb shepart/rott mix and he had a partially torn ACL, actually both are this way but they can only fix one at a time. He was gone for 2 1/2 days and it just floored me at the difference in the house. We have lost two dogs to cancer over the last 4 years so taking him to OSU Vet School brought all those memories back.

So has Dug met any goats yet ?

Bina,

Congratulations! He is absolutely adorable :)! I know he will never replace Cleo. I am having a difficult time without my dog Pongo. My wife wants me get another dog right way because I have been so sad without her, but I want to wait until after we get back from our trip up North.

Karl

Scott, I hope that your big guy will recover perfectly from the surgery.
And, no, Dug hasn't met the goats yet, he will see them in spring when they return from boarding; that should be fun!
Karl, take your time getting another dog....you will know when you are ready and when the pain has eased somewhat. I was thinking about a dog in the new year or spring, but then little Dug came along and I had a change of heart :)
