Information on St. Francis in Greenville, SC

I will be having a Aortic Valve Replacement at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC performed by a Dr. H. Dennis next month.

Does anyone have any experience with either the hospital or the doctor?

Hi, Mike. Me again (dropped into your other thread, also). I tried the search button on the hospital, doctor and city/state and since it didn't come up with anything, so I don't know if your actual question will be answered.

Perhaps you could ask us some more particular questions about your assessment of the hospital you are scheduled for, or the surgeon. We have lots of opinions!!

Hi Mike, how did you happen to pick that hospital and that surgeon? I've not heard anything good or bad about it. Do you know how many valve replacements they do a year?

My cardologist recommended the doctor. The hospital was my choice as one of the two area hospitals suited for such procedures.
