In the hospital

Just to let everyone know that Betty is in the hospital and will be off the board for a few days.

She was admitted with abdominal pain. They did an abdominal cat scan. They are trying to rule out a clot in the blood supply to part of the intestines. She is on Lovenox while in the hospital in case surgery is necessary. She hopes to be able to post soon.

The pain started New Year's Eve during the day and she was admitted New Year's morning. She is in good spirits and wishes everyone well.

Betty is doing very well today and is feeling the best she has in quite some time. She still had a fever last night and they are not going to let her go until she has been 24 hours with no fever. She should get to come home tomorrow morning. They also need to get her off the lovenox and back on coumadin.
