Dr Milano at duke is performing my surgery. I have let go of what I cant change and now trying to focus on what i can. thanks for all the support. By the way, do they give you a heart pillow at duke for after surgery. Im getting one made out of my moms tee shirt and getting all my friends to sign it so I have a tangable support when they are not around.
I had OHS with new Aortic valve and aneyrsum repair about 17 months ago. I felt that was less stress, and probelms then my hernia surgrey was this last weekend obviously Ohs is longer recovery. I also had a lot of fear prior to the Surgrey your fear is normal if you had no fear That would not be normal. My biggest fear was the unknown as others have said.
