I'm an aunt!!!

Wyland Gilly Oeser entered the world on June 5, 2007 at 10:09 AM, weighing in at 7lbs, 13oz, and measuring 19 3/4 inches long. I may be biased, but I do believe he may be the cutest baby ever!

I don't have any pictures on this computer, but as soon as I get a chance I'll post a few (or you can go to my caringbridge site: "nicoleherron"). Right now I have him curled up in my right (non-surgery) arm sleeping away. I'm in hog-heaven!

I just became a first time uncle in May 2006 and let me tell you, there is nothing better than enjoying and loving a new baby! I hope you have as much pleasure with your little nephew Wyland as I do with my little peanut Eliza Larson!! For those of you who don't know, Wyland is the last name of an artist who does Ocean scenes. My sister is a huge fan and her husband even managed to get her an original several years back (she has some prints as well).

Anyway, my dad's wife contacted Wyland's (the artist) marketing director and told her that my sister had chosen to name her son after him. The marketing director told Wyland (again, the artist) about it and he sent a card to my sister saying he had never had a child named after him and was flattered. How cool is that?
